Silver Sherpa is a professional services company delivering independent, confidential, and personalized advice on Smart Ageing and later life transitions. We are unique in how we help seniors and their families and friends prepare for, and respond to, lifestyle crises caused by health challenges, loss of a partner, disorganized finances, social isolation, and many other factors putting their quality of life at risk. We offer expertise in navigating the maze of silos of services, from healthcare to complex family dynamics, from home care to financial and estate planning.

Our CEO and Co-founder Susan Hyatt, an international healthcare expert and corporate strategist, founded Silver Sherpa after both of her own elderly parents went into crisis. During this difficult and stressful period, she realized the critical need for a single point of contact – a professional person that could be trusted to step back, see the big picture, and figure out pragmatic and cost-effective next steps.
